Courses in English + Portuguese as a Second Language
International students have the opportunity to take courses in English at PUC-Rio and learn Portuguese!
PUC-Rio offers a package of disciplines in English to compound the student’s schedule every semester. Together with the courses in English, international students must attend a Portuguese as a Second Language class during their academic semester. The semester plan can be a combination of classes in English and Portuguese upon recommendation of the student academic coordinator.
Disciplines in English are not necessarily offered every semester. These courses are subject to academic planning.
Candidates must follow the regular application procedures presented at http://www.puc-rio.br/ensinopesq/ccci/incoming/forms-hp_students.html indicating the intention to attend classes in English.

1 or 2 academic semesters.
